Scrumptious!
It can take a while for a Seattle reviewer to make it as far as Kent, even for reputedly scrumptious Indian food. But this friendly diner/sweets shop, which shares a strip mall with a taco bus and a Ukranian restaurant, turns out to be a fine field trip for casual north Indian food.
Regal Burgandy
Decorated in regal burgundies and greens, Punjab Sweets in as noble a room as one might reasonably hope for in a strip mall, featuring glass cases filled with Indian confections pretty as petit fours.
Tastiest in Seattle
The all vegetarian Punjab Sweets in Kent serves some of the tastiest Indian food in the Seattle area (we even put them on the cover of the dining guide last year).
Gasps of Joy!
Like Charlie in the chocolate factory, I’m sure I let out little gasps of joy when I first eyed the display case at Punjab Sweets.
